Achieved 12 points from 9 post lockdown matches. Moved from 2 points above drop zone to 7 points clear. Strong finish to season from team as a whole and in particular from Bissouma, Lamptey, Webster and Maupay. Plus a goal from Connolly, which is a massive confidence boost. Onward and upward.

Until he faded in the second half, I thought Mac had a really good game. So much time on the ball, seeing passes, being available, could/should have scored. Must be a joy to play alongside. Get him Poitter fit and with more Prem acclimatisation and we'll have (yet another) superb youngster on our hands.

Three at the back. I hope this is how we set up next season. Our football tends to much easier on the eye and we create more chances.

New kit looked lush

Lamptey MOM for me

Been saying this for ages , gives us more options and we pass out of the oppositions press much better

Also apart from the cock up with the ball leading to a penalty shout , I thought Stephens looked like the player he used to be today

We played well enough that I watched the whole game. Two great goals. Lamptey looking better each week. An amusing VAR in our favour. Decent take away bitter from the Foghorn and a curry after. I'm one happy bunny. :)

Queens Park
- A goal from midfield
- Both goals from players who desperately needed one
- 3-5-2 is a formation which would be strengthened by Lallana and White for MacAllister and Burn/March
- We best the racists with a black player scoring
- Jay Rodriguez didn’t score
- Sean Dyche will explode
- New kit
- The strength of the bench
- THAT pass from Dunk
- 7 games unbeaten away
- a brilliant away win to help with the mojo over the break

Over the season we improved considerably. That is the most important thing because in his first season Potter can only improve it from here. It looks positive for next season with potentially Lallana and a striker - we could get to be a middle third team as opposed to a bottom third. That would be real progress in such a difficult league.

I agree great promise one outstanding example was with Maupay and Connerly right on edge of their box it was so fast that the Burnley defence were left flat footed

Omg so glad you mentioned the pass. I’d forgotten - the weight and angle - oh my days!!
