That’s 2 clean sheets out of the two times in his career, isn’t it?

I mentioned this in the 'Did Sanchez do the right thing?' thread.

It's not the first time I've seen Dunky have to pull on the goalkeeper's shirt and gloves. Can anybody remember which game was the last time he had to do it?

Can anybody remember which game it was?

Down to ten men and with our captain in goal we showed we could manage the game by attacking their box and playing mostly in the final third.

Which begged the question why didn’t we do that with eleven men.

We said exactly the same. Where the hell was the urgency shown in the last 5 minutes for the previous 65?!

Forest at home at beginning of 16/17 season. We were 3-0 up at the time though so less pressure on him.

1) We looked quite good on the highlights.

2) By the sound of it I was lucky to sleep through it and wake up to only the highlights.

3) We scored a penalty.

My daughter woke up ill meaning I didn’t waste a load of time and money travelling down to watch that in person.
And Trossard and Lamptey.
That’s all I got.

Well I enjoyed it  But then I'm fairly easily pleased.

Positives for me:

Got to the park and ride, jumped straight onto a bus that left immediately afterwards and into our seats five mins before KO
Loads of hot dogs still left, despite it being 15 mins before KO
Got to hang out with Bobkin Jnr and it's always nice when your kids still come to the football with you.
Impeccably observed minute's silence for the 'Remembrance game'
Lamptey right in front of us in the first half
We scored a goal
We didn't lose
Decent evening entertainment after a dull afternoon of work
Trossard
Dunky in goal
It rained and we didn't get too wet
Sprinted from the East stand at the final whistle to the P&R queue, which was a lot shorter than normal
Got a seat on the bus.

Man city stuffed us.

Don't get me wrong league position is great but if we continue on the current trajectory we will be tumbling down the table very soon.

I feel it's more than a little disingenuous of you to say City "stuffed" us.

We were architects of our own downfall that day, gifting City a 3 goal lead. Second half we more than matched them and troubled them with our pace and quick passing, something you say we haven't got, before we decided to gift them another goal before full time.

You still havent answered where you expected us to be after 11 games!
