I think the injuries mean fighting on 3 fronts is utterly unrealistic. I felt tonight was always going to be a game too far given that, so now we can refocus on our two higher goals, I’m fine with that, I’ve already had two recent semi-finals at Wembley and am not gutted we are not trekking back.

We need to have new options quickly to cope with the new injuries and a lively Enciso and hardworking Barco shows they are both ready for the huge challenges ahead.

Lose against Fulham and knocked out by Roma, would you bring back Potter?

‘Shocking’
Bizarre how people see things

Buananote and Moder were the best players in the first half.

4 or 5 recoveries from Moder and looked to make the sort of quick passes we feed off.
Made a couple of decent runs that Dunk failed to find the right pass for.

Should have hit the target with his shot, but that was the only negative.

Looked to be miles ahead of Baleba for covering Billy's spot.

It's a game of opinions but I have never seen anything in Moder to warrant some people raving about him. Never scored or looks like scoring, is slow and creates nothing. Hopefully he will prove me wrong (somewhen soon).

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Moder did alright I thought. Certainly a lot better than Baleba who looked like a competition winner when he came on.

Enciso, Barco looked sharp, good to see Welbeck. Thought we played alright especially first half. Just such a shit goal to giveaway which enabled Wolves to go into anti football mode.

FFS, Baleba just turned 20 and plays the technically hardest position on the pitch. A position that took Alexis Mac Allister more than 6 months to learn with us, before he was trusted, at the age of 22.

Give the guy a break.

I was there tonight and watched his movement out of curiosity for long periods. He was utterly lost.

For balance, he had a cracking game against Liverpool and likewise in the "Quarter back" role against Brentford. Tonight though, he was poor.

Indeed. It's a great song but ' magic man' verdict still distinctly out

I agree he's not there yet, but neither were Gilmour or Alexis at his age.

Dahoud was supposed to be our cover in that position at this stage, giving Carlos time to develop.

Lol. We’d still be in the race for 7th. We are underdogs against Roma, I mean let’s stay on planet earth 🤣
