I thought the first 20 minutes of the second-half was about as well as we have played all season, and did everything but score. Two good saves in quick succession from their 'keeper from Dunky, scoring what would have been a perfectly good goal in any season before this, and Webster smashing a header onto the underside of the crossbar. Overall we looked very solid (apart from a slip by Webster) against a side who, by all accounts, gave Liverpool a real scare a few days ago.

I'll take that point all day long - now let's smash Sheffield United on Sunday.

It may be pure coincidence but at the same time as Sanchez repaced Ryan all three central defenders put in improved performances. Therefore, Sanchez has to keep his place for Sheff Utd.

Alzate showed why he should have been starting alongside Biss all season. Tidy and energetic. Indeed, there is an argument for starting him even when Moder arrives, maybe replacing Tossard / Ali J.

Tonight showed how we miss Izquierdo. He could have been the difference.

It's not.

If Sanchez loses the shirt for the next game, I will be very annoyed.
