Unsure the point of the article you've mentioned?
All I was saying was that I disagreed with the post saying David Walliams was a multi-millionaire public school boy. He was privately educated but the school he went to would never be considered to be in the same league as any of the public schools such as Harrow or Eton.
David Walliams went to the same school as Norman Cook. And no-one says Oh Norman Cook is a multi millionaire public school boy
I don't see how Norman Cook has any relevance? He hasn't created any characters designed to poke fun at the lower classes.
Maybe I should change that original statment to privately educated. Reigate Grammar School's fees are still just under £5000 a term, or about £15,000 a year. Still prohibitively expensive, and elitist, when you consider the average household income, no?
