Ohhhhh PSG, flair!

Albion have confirmed the three fixtures during the club's pre-season training camp in Portugal - which includes French Ligue 1 and Portuguese Primeira Liga opponents.

The Seagulls players and coaching staff fly to the Algarve on Monday 18th July and kick off with a fixture against a Tottenham Hotspur XI the following day.

Gus Poyet's side will then face French giants Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday 20th and complete their fixtures against Portuguese top-flight side Olhanense on Saturday 23rd July.

The first two fixtures will be played at the Estádio Municipal de Albufeira - the stadium where Albion played Sunderland last summer - with the match against Olhanense at the José Arcanjo, Olhão. All three will be evening kick-offs, although times are yet to be confirmed.

Poyet will also hold an open training session for supporters at the club's training base on the Thursday morning.

Details, along with full ticket and travel information, will be made available in due course, but fans wishing to travel can book packages with the club's official travel partner Thomas Cook.

Departing from Gatwick on July 18th, Thomas Cook is offering a seven-night package - based on two people sharing - from £359 per person or a similar four-night package from £289 per person.

These prices include the Seagulls Holiday Club discount, and the club will earn a royalty payment on every booking made. All supporters have to do is mention they are a Seagulls fan!

Albion's pre-season campaign starts, as it did last season, with a fixture against Burgess Hill Town on Sunday 10th July, kick-off 1pm.

OK perhaps we had better co-ordinate meeting etc pre-match as stadiums seem to be in the middle of nowhere.

Anyone any idea how much taxis were last year ?

Albufeira stadium is easily accessible, but no idea where the other place is. Taxi sharing is probably a good idea. It's east of Faro so definitely a taxi ride from Albufeira.

It depends where in Albufeira you're staying but there is a little train you can catch ie a Noddy train which is cheap.

I think the noddy train runs from the main strip to the old town though, not sure if there are any other routes available

Last year we fully planned to go to the training session but woke up about 2 hours after it finished having got battered the night before, happy days!

Well pleased with PSG too, we're coming back on the Friday so will prob go to the Spurs game too.

No worries!! It is about a quarter of the way down on the right on side from the top of then main strip coming from the main road. During the daytime the Old Town is really picturesque and some brilliant chilled out bars/restaurants much nicer than the strip.
