Clearly over the line.

They put this on BBC live text earlier -

1341: This quite baffling news just in: The International Football Association Board have announced that goal-line technology will not be pursued in the future.

Good timing guys.

1413: UNBELIEVABLE. Hermann Hreidarsson's header is pawed away brilliantly by David James, but Liam Ridgwell is there to nod in the rebound, the ball clearly crossing the line before James claws it out. But the goal isn't given. ARE YOU WATCHING INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION BOARD? (see 1341)

Brighton fan ???

Of course.... look around..

I hate Palace but I only have enough hate for one club and lets be honest Palace are far more deserving. Portsmouth are not worth it.

and anytway getting to thr final before being thumped is more painful... and it would probably save the club which means the rivalry can continue... everyone wins!

So a team of players that are overpaid, shouldn't get paid and won't pay the PAYE tax they clock up for a club that shouldn't be in business gets to Wembley at the expense of every club that have players bought within their means.

Nice win if you can get it

Fair play to Pompey, their supporters deserve a good result in the cup after the shit they've been through recently. Ha Ha Brumscum. :bigwave:

Was over the line.... But Would you have spotted it if you were the linesman?

As it the incident happened from a corner & the last defender was still on the goal line, the linesmans position should have been that of the camera, and that clearly showed the ball crossed the line.

Yes in slow motion and the FREEZE-FRAMED. It wasn't OBVIOUS like some in the past. A goal can't be given if there's ANY doubt.

Freeze framing only showed what could first be seen in real time. Plus the linesman had the advantage of not only the goal line but the post to judge by, something the high point camera did not have. Bet what really happened was the lino moved up too quickly & was caught out!
