Carluccio's is delicious and plenty of choice if you like Italian.

No doubt, but it'll also be identical to the one in Chichester, or Brighton, or London or the Outer Hebrides. Albert Road, in Southsea, in my opinion, is more interesting, with it's small independent traders
Is Albert Road ,Southsea walkable from Gunwharf or is it too far?[/
It's a couple of miles, so a bit of a schlep, I'm certain there will be a bus though. Fratton is the better train station for Southsea. Hope you enjoy your day wherever you end up
