It's funny how Wenger didn't moan when Theirry Henry scored a quickly taken free-kick against Chelsea a few years back.

Have the rules changed since then?!!!

Apparently so, because Wenger now seems to think a defending team is entitled to get prepared to defend a free kick.

Strange really, because I only know the rule allows an attacking team to request a quick free kick rather than the 10 yards because of Arsenal and the goal you mention.

As for the ref "blocking" Sol, don't be so ridiculous. Sol wasn't getting anywhere near intercepting it, he was too busy crouching down with his head in his hands until it was FAR too late. If he's back for his experience, then he's not showing it.
