Sounds almost like he wants us to send them down. Hopefully we can do them a favour.

What a nobber

"If it is to happen, I don't want it to happen at home because of the wonderful support the fans have given us," Sinnott told BBC Radio Stoke.
"It's been a long, hard season for them and they don't deserve to see that."

So you'd rather get relegated away from home, so that all the fans who give you support home AND away get the chance to see you relegated.

With what looks like a tough run in, i think if we dont get maximum points from Port Vale its game over for this season. There are too many teams in and around play off showing more consistency than us

Anything less than 5-0, to be honest, then Wilkins, Knight and Murray need to be shown the door.

Going by the article below, it could be easier for us

Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott does not want to see his team relegated at Vale Park because of the home fans' loyalty.

Vale, League One's bottom club, beat Leyton Orient 2-1 on Saturday - their first back-to-back win of the season.

But they will be relegated if they lose at Brighton this Saturday and rivals Crewe avoid defeat against Southend.

"If it is to happen, I don't want it to happen at home because of the wonderful support the fans have given us," Sinnott told BBC Radio Stoke.

"It's been a long, hard season for them and they don't deserve to see that."

I'm sure Port Vale once won promotion against us at the Goldstone. If memory serves me correctly, they were given the whole East Terrace.

Quite glad they're still not mathematically down, as they'd be bound to spank us otherwise, you just know it.

Ive always thaught that its harder to play teams fighting for survival than it is to play teams pushing for promotion, I can see us loosing tis one by a goal!!

Who?

We've lost two of the last nine games, won four and had two draws away from home without conceding a goal in the last two games - how consistent do you want?

Exactly.
We are the form team atthe minute. The only concern is that forest and leeds games are easy to get up for and I dont know if home to league 2 bound pv is the same.

This week really is were dw can earn his money, guarding against subconscious conplacency.

Of course they could become complacent (an Albion player who posts on here pretty much said "we've done the hard work" on another thread).. so it's easy to take the eye off the ball.

Having seen this team play I don't think there is a chance they will take their foot off the gas. Players like Fozzie, Westlake, Thomson, Elphick and most of the others seem pretty driven to me.
