i heard on the radio brighton fans applaued him for his goal, did anyone off here??

I applauded him and Vale. A strange moment when many people realised they were more than just Albion fans they were infact - unrealised to that moment - football fans who appreciated real quality.

I appluaded. They were great yesterday. It's a shame that so many of the tossers on here are so disrespectful, unable to show some humility and say well done. They thoroughly deserved their win.

Hi All, Vale fan here.

Excellent (from my point of view) to hear such great comments about Whitaker who has become a bit of a boo boy at Vale Park this season.

Although, judging by his perfomance today we may struggle to hang on to him when his contract is up this summer.

Anyway, wish you luck in your promotion push and if it's any consolation we are a bit of a form team at the minute so I'm sure it's just a blip on your part

I thought their number 35 was very good, the lad on loan from Brum.

Pearce has been absolute quality during his loan spell, for a lad of 18 he is remarkable. Our upturn is due in no small part to him.

If we had stayed in league 1 we would have surely tried to get him on a season long loan but I would imagine Brum would be looking at upper league 1/Championship club to take him for the season.

He has been committed throughout and dropped out of an England under 19 game to stay with us for what seems quite a fruitless cause.

You guys should go for him next year!!!
