The pope - what a load of bollox, who needs some senile old git prancing around in a white outfit in a converted disabled car? Sorry but it's just bum cheeks the whole thing.

Did she hit the Pope or Cardinal Sin or did she do Cardinal Sin by hitting the Pope ?

Shit security detail. Needs sacking. A black suit, shades and an earpiece does not make an effective security team. Amazing considering they are amongst the top 5 highest paid security operatives in the world.

I guess forgiveness is out of fashion again this Christmas. . .

Blimey Juan, how can you possibly advocate forgiveness in the season of good will to all??? Both Berlusconi and The Pope should have been better protected and why would anyone agree that such attacks are right.

Firstly i hope the Pope is ok but this kind of reporting really pisses me off everytime something like this happens and keeps that stigma of mental illness in society.Have they gone through her medical records thoroughly? Talked to her doctors? To these journalists it's either black or white-no inbetween.

Certainly a bit early to be making assumptions.Everybody that has a fight down West Street suffers from being mentally ill then.

I agree with the view that the press and society automatically hang labels on people in this sort of incident which increases the stigma of mental illness. There could be numerous other reasons why these two have been attacked which are totally unrelated to any form of mental illness.

If you watch the video it's the security bloke's fault that the Pope went headlong. He dragged her away just has she got hold of him.
