Cash constraints at Coventry City mean that Micky Adams will not be able to sign Paul Watson. The former Brighton defender, who impressed during pre-season,scored in a reserve team practice game yesterday at Ryton but will not signed on until at least January when the transfer window reopens and only then if the club have the finances.
Adams said: "I would love to take both Watson and Andy Impey, "but unfortunately we haven't got any money. "I feel for the lads because they are in limbo with nowhere to go and they are both good enough to be members of our squad."
