Personally I think both times we went bankrupt were due to awful mismanagement rather than a deliberate attempt to cheat. Just like I think that when you went bankrupt and had to sell your ground that was due to awful mismanagement. However when your fans are constantly calling us cheats most of those who do so know nothing about your history.

20p in the pound is just a lesser degree than our cheating if that's what you want to call it.

We didn't go bankrupt

Yes and technicality neither did we. They both amounted to the same thing though.

We haven't been bankrupt or in administration. Palace have been in administration twice.

I think the correct term is fact.

Palace were selling season tickets for 2013/2014 season before Christmas - that's before the half way stage of this season. Desperate for money or wot? - if I was the St John at Selhurst I'd want cash up front.

Administration wasn't available as a mechanism for football clubs when you almost went bankrupt. Fact.
You would have entered administration had it been available to you then. Likely.
Palace would have sold the ground either time had we have owned it at the time. Probable under Goldberg, impossible under Jordan as we were put into admin by a third party who got trigger happy.

Been the same thing for years, always renew mine early in the new year.
Glad you're on here tonight, could you get the abacus out and work out how many more fans you'll need to cut the £8 million loss again for this season ?
Thanks in advance old boy.

The fact remains we never went bankrupt and you had ADIMISTRATION TWICE with only a few years in between.

You'll move the goalposts, as that's what palace fans do to suit yourselves - much like not paying your way.

Might be wrong but we seem to target Albion fans directly. Bit different to a newspaper from a town miles away with other clubs in between geographically.

Kind of like how you claimed you were going to win at the Amex and when you were turned over you started banging on about how you were higher in the league? Or like how we were living above our means making 5m losses then found out you were making 8m losses and it was suddenly all back to attendances?

That's got what to do with us not going bankrupt compared to your 2 admins?

And we did finish above you last season in the end btw

No palace fan on here has ever been modest or real enough to acknowledge the elephant in the room. It's like banging one's head on a brick wall trying to get them to feel even a teenie weenie bit of remorse for the abject way their club behaved. Their superior league status means nothing when all things are considered if it was achieved at such a price. Palace= Pompey.

When you only paid 20% of your debts to do you accept you were cheating scum for how you treated other companies? If not then its just bare faced hypocrisy :)

Palace=Pompey is a bit extreme tbh, another admin would justify it.

No probs - just add about £8 to a matchday ticket and stick the programme, pint & pie up by a £1 each and we should be sorted within a season.

What I wouldn't want us to do is fold like a pack of cards, screw all the local businesses, people & charities take a 10 point hit knowing we won't get relegated, reform but keep our name and then start boasting about how long we had survived in the top two divisions. Now that would a real shit thing to do and everyone would forever more view us as utter mongs completely lacking a moral compass of any kind and a joke club.

Its so refreshing to know that Brighton fans are not bitter about us being better than them at what actually counts, football
