Inflated egos and yet entertainingly bad. Pards and Wednesday are like bread and butter.

Though at the same time there are a fair few Wednesday fans who know better and don't want him at all. At least there's some sense amongst Wednesday fans.

Lot of inflated egos here as well mate.

But that is club forums for you.

Their prediciment does show that money does not buy success at that level. Villa also a fine example. Close team working like our squad from last season, is the way forward.

Funny really. They were crap for years, never troubling the promotion slots, being notoriously dull to watch under various different managers, and occasionally getting relegated to the third tier.

All of a sudden they have two consecutive half decent seasons with play off appearances, and now they think they have a divine right to be up there :lolol:

They've been super shite but only 5 points off the playoffs and plenty of time. The football they play is slow and boring though and with the amount of money they spent you'd think they would have signed at least one pacey winger.

A good summary.

They haven't seen top flight football since 2000, have been Championship/League One also-rans for 17 years, were seldom talked about by the media, but for some bizarre reason their fans now see them as a powerhouse of English football.

I can only think that the 2014 takeover by wealthy Chansiri, gave them hope of an Abramovich/Sheikh Mansour like watershed.
