Palace trolls are clinging to this thread like nuggets round a sheep's arse because that's all they've got and they're going to milk it for what it's worth regardless of their gross distortions.

Pathetic, the lot of you.

I was in a box almost directly above the Albion fans so had a great view of proceedings.

All I could see, and hear, was applause from Albion fans when Murray was stretchered off.

And, in case it matters, I'd not had a drop to drink to cloud my judgement as I had a drive back to Somerset to contend with.

Well you were much nearer yet detached from the action and more clear-headed than I was then. Perhaps assumptions were made on both sides.

Palace really are turning into Liverpool fans.

Happy to lob coins and abuse at Koosh, then go ape over a very small minority over Murray. They are kidding themselves if they wouldn't do the same to one of our players.

Quite. And let's not forget all Koosh did was give a cheeky gesture to their fans after they'd been hurling abuse at him up till then.

Bunch of whiney little arsehats.

It was very obvious that he hadn't dived as there was no one near him.

That's what a lot if diving is!

You're looking at this through whiter than white spectacles. He was clearly being pressured by our defense and went down. You can't blame the crowd for thinking dive. Sorry, but the boy cried wolf and the crowd weren't to know immediately what had happened.

How often have we seen these serious injuries only for the player to get up and jog off?

Okay, fair enough. I'm in the camp that it's glad he won't play on Monday but I don't harbor resentment against Murray, I wanted him to stay but it's a short career and a free country so good luck to him. I'm actually quite gutted for him as a person as the injury looked bad. these threads will always attract gloating and unkind posters, I shouldn't worry about it.
Very sensible post.....agree

Alan Navarro recovered from a similar cruciate injury against Northampton but he was out for most of that season.
Didn't Tommy Elphick suffer the same fate? He was out for a year. Think he had a set back though.

100% this! Clearly no dive and a serious injury. Brighton fans singing "let him die" and "there's nothing wrong with him" really cringeworthy and lacked class.

Murray thought he had been fouled but Worzel told him there was nobody near him when he went down. If Murray thought it was a foul then he reacted as such, which may well have made it look like he dived .

I've now had a look at various clips of the incident and aftermath, from which it appears that a large proportion of Brighton fans applauded Glenn as he was stretchered off while some cheered. So just like Palace, the Albion have a lot of decent fans and some utter knobs. No surprise there then.

He had to have the operation on his achilles done twice as the first op wasn't successful. The club paid for him to go to the top bloke in Sweden who did Beckham's achilles.

Just p*ss off Palace troll. A quick look at the thread about wanting to cause serious injury to our keeper on Palace BBS shows exactly what your fans are.

Your username pees me off too you pompous arsehat.

Well normally I would find that offensive, but as its you....

Seen plenty of comments showing sympathy for Murray because he's a professional athlete and needs to play to earn. My understanding is that he's just signed a 3 year contract worth 3M, at the end of which he'll be 33 and on the verge of retirement anyway - certainly from this level of football, which is the highest he's ever played at. Whatever happens, he's still getting paid by Palace - possibly via an insurance policy - we haven't stopped paying CMS or Hoskins since March have we??

I'm in my mid 30s and, inflation nothwithstanding, I'd be happy if I could earn 3M over the rest of my career so am finding it hard to have sympathy.

Really bad form from those on here who enjoyed in Murrays injury. He has conducted himself very well, scored a great goal against us last year and as far as I am aware has said or done nothing to insult Brighton fans or the club. leading goal scorer in Division 1 helped us up to the Championship and made a career move, as we all would, for a better offer. Really sorry to see his injury, with or without him we should be able to beat Palace, but some of you on here are way out of order sniggering about his injury, I cannot associate myself with you!

Glad i'm not in the minority then, good for those who applauded Glenn
