We had the 2nd lowest league gate in Div 1 yesterday 4,802... I know the rugby was on etc, but with new signings you would of thought we would of got nearer

Profits down.

Game is up. :(

Ticket prices need to be reduced, if only slightly.

At a slight price drop, maybe we can add an extra 1,000 - 2,000 to the gate.

Which would make that money back, and some as well.

Out of interest how much do ppl think a ticket should cost at the withdean?

Wasn't the Gillingham game a sell-out? Because i'm pretty sure it was.

That's a lot of extra faces in the crowd isnt it?

Yes but they reduced ticket prices by £14, hardly the same as reducing it by a few quid!

I reckon if DK was to drop ticket prices down to say £20 with travel included, then ticket sales would go up by a fair few.

For the club, it's worth a try because it can't get much worse than yesterday!

Prices up, prices down, new signings or not, I'd still not be going as Arthur can't sit through 90 minutes just yet - maybe next year but more probably the season after....Whether we're losing, winning or playing in a cow paddock, we'll be back...

I can't imagine 2,000 people saying, "Oh, it's £4 off at Withdean, let's phone up the ticket line, hang on until they get around to answering, then grab our waterproofs and overcoats and queue at the tiny little booth to pick up the tickets".
I honestly think we might as well wait until we get our new stadium.

Don't think the rugby being on helped!

Wouldn't have made a difference - most people don't care for the minority sport that is egg-chasing. It's only hyped by the BBC at the moment as it is one of the few sports that they still have rights for.

Wouldn't hurt the club to start dishing out the Falmer incentives as of next season.

Purchase a season ticket for the remaining 2 years at Withdean and get £50 off a season ticket at Falmer etc etc

A small price reduction for next season won't hurt anyone.

And in actual fact it MAY help?

So you keep saying, but you're not the one financing it.

So you keep saying, but you're not the one financing it.

I'm not the only one saying it, and i'm certainly not the only one who thinks it.

DK will HAVE to review the ticket prices for next season, and has said as much himself.

I'm not trying to be a pain in the arse, it just upsets me seeing a deserted Withdean every Saturday :(
