I have just donated £50 to this fund to help our great local rivals survive as a club. Would hate to see them go into oblivion.
I am not looking for a pat on the back, so I would appreciate it if the local idiot brigade would treat this post with respect.
In no way does it lessen my support for the Albion, whom I have loyally supported since 1948.
This could have, and nearly was us a few years back.
I know that this amount will not save them, but it would be great if some of you felt the same as me.

You have more money than sense im afraid, they deserve nothing !

Whilst everyone is getting all self righteous on this thread, Langley has donated to the SUPPORTERS Trust Fund not Portsmouth football club. I hope the Supporters who are fighting can use the money to fight the bloodsuckers.

Let me just say a few little things. Chicken Tikka Madras..eh? eh? okay, Lamb Tikka starter. (with mint sauce and salad of-course). Alright, Alright, what about some Sag Aloo on the side with some lovely Keema rice, eh? Maybe with a nice Nan bread or 5 crispy papadoms with spicy lime pickle. Howzabouthatthen? Still think you spent that money wisely?

I treat all posters with respect, but if you judge people by calling them 'the local idiot brigade' because they disagree with you, and then you also stick 50 notes into anything to do with PFC, then maybe you should think twice about who is the idiot???

Pompey deserve the ultimate punishment and i can't think of a better club to disappear from the league at present.

Its your money & you can do what you wish with it of course. For the reasons spoken of many times in other threads and repeated on this one, I don't believe they deserve a penny from anyone personally. All those creditors who are in line to receive the massive windfall of 2p in the Pound would be more deserving of any fighting fund cash.

As I said, your money, your choice.

There is nothing there that says anything about people disagreeing with me , its about comments made by people like you. Football is about supporters. And thats who my money has gone to, not Portsmouthg FC.
And if my donation goes a little way to helping the cause, then I will feel very pleased.

I have worked out that based on a 15 hour working week £50 will pay Tal Ben Haim's wages for 1.5 minutes!!!

I think you will find that he has left the club, & as previously stated my money went to the Supporters not PFC. Like some of the others who have replied to this post, you did not read what had been written.
Spec Savers is your best option.

Fair enough but are you happy that your £50 will probably help Pompey pay a £5k a week player even if the supporters trust take over ? Or it might even go towards paying off their criminal previous owner the £2.5m they've offered him ?

The Plymouth Supporters Trust forced the administrator to accept the bid from Brent who was their choice. I hope the Pompey Supporters get the same treatment. As you say, Specsavers is the best option for many contributors to this thread.

Can't be bothered to argue the point but i am sure it's up to the Pompey fans to fight there own war. I know lot's of Pompey fans and i am yet to know any of them put any money into the fund, 99% of them have no real spirit and they chucked the towel in months ago, they have no guts and for that i will give them little respect.

I know you live to the west but you don't know every Pompey fan.

If they were setting up a new club from scratch I would be supportive.

But how anyone can be supportive of a businees that has run up £150m of debt and shat on all there suppliers from a great hight is beyond me.

What does the club actually bring to Portsmouth? Business have gained nothing but debt and hardship from that vile entity.

The club is tainted and will be dispised by other football fans, even now they are going to be offering contracts that 75% of teams in their division can't afford.

The way forward would be to start a fresh club, the fans thow are clinging onto their FA cup wins and wont let go. Asking the local council for money when they have already stuckj their fingers to the tax man to the tune of £50m.

SCUM CLUB.
