Pompeys losing fans now ?

I'd love them to go tumbling through the leagues too. I still can remember the 5-1 defeat under Cattlin when we were kept behind by the local plod for half an hour in the pissing rain whilst they (the OB) were singing '5-1' to us, and they then abandoned us to the waiting hordes of brick throwing sailors who follow Pompey outside as soon as their overtime shift ended.

One of the reasons i hate them with a passion too, i was at that game and the hatred the Portsmouth fans showed us that day had to be seen to be believed, I know our fans are not always angels but it seemed every man and his (police) dog was against us that day!

Pompey are not plastic they are a loud bunch always a loud atmosphere in their ground but yes they are *****. I would say Reading,Fulham,Wigan,
Major plastic clubs!

I never said the town was plastic. I said Wigan football club is plastic. They get more away fans from other teams than their own home fans, the club is a joke.

Disagree entirely about Fulham, they are just very good at pulling in the neutrals with very attractive prices and an easy to get to stadium for most in the south bit like charlton did

Have you been?, I have a few times.

a lot of clubs in London joke about and call them a Middle Class club beacuse of the Prawn followers they have, and the fact they have a stand for neutrals! which is taken up by the visiting teams. Very plastic!
