If you're dating and looking for someone to be with in the long-term, then compatibility/personality are most important imo. It also helps to be physically attracted to them!

Funny, fit and above all not create or engage in ridiculous drama or histrionics, after all is said and done a date should be good fun for both people especially if it's a date that I think has potential, of course if I know it's definitely going to just be a one nighter then I ask only that they be fit, flirty and a total ****ing cum gurgling gutterslut.

Starting a revolution from my bed
No one looks for one thing do they - if your date looks like Heidi Klum but they start extolling the virtues on Mein Kampf half way through the date 98% of people are walking away.

If I had to choose one thing it's probably not on your list and that's kookiness, I like my date to be a bit kooky or have something unique about them.

What is compatibility anyway? Is that not just another way of saying two people that fancy either other?

All about the attractiveness for me. It's biological drive that we want to have sex and reproduce with people that we, on a personal level, find physically attractive - this gives the best chance of healthy offspring and good genetic diversity.

Should be an option for not fat as well.

Attractive girl on Pointless who sadly failed on intelligence, when asked who did Lee Harvey Oswald assassinate in Dallas replied JR.

Poll: What do you (or did you) look for most in a date?

I saw a video that humans are no longer evolving as survival of the fittest but are chosing partners based on attractiveness and intelligence. What do you look for most in a date?

One answer.

what were the criteria before they changed on this unspecified date to attractiveness and intelligence. Ugliness and stupidity? If so, I am going back to that time NOW.

Attractiveness v sex trade off for 1st few dates

I think it is imperative that a mutual respect and compatibility is essential to form the basis of a solid relationship, whether it be platonic or more emotional and physical.

I think K'B'W should compile some sort of questionnaire to aid clarification in this area.

Kevin Bloody Wilson is an evolutionary dead end.

Number one thing is definitely sex. Above all else, they had to be female.
