Just (?) Left of centre. Have always considered myself a Social Democrat in the style of '70s Germany.

I have never voted Conservative and have often voted tactically. I have been served by good Conservative MPs, though. But if anybody ever complained about Thatcher, I could always say "well I didn't vote for her".

But at the same time, I couldn't have voted for Cornyn in a million years.

Considering we support Brighton and Hove Albion and the city is represented by two Labour and one Green MP and was heavily Remain in the referendum I would fully expect a slightly left lead in the poll. You could say, with accuracy, that it's also a county team, but you're all still tolerated day trippers

As for the moderating team, you've directly quoted [MENTION=6886]Bozza[/MENTION] I see there, without putting into context that [MENTION=600]Bry Nylon[/MENTION] has put himself down as right of centre and [MENTION=36]Titanic[/MENTION] is a Tory party member so it's not exclusive. And none of us bring politics into our moderating. Always thought I was a bit on the left, trades union member, could not really relate the stereotypical Tory toff, on the other hand I cannot imagine voting for the Labour Party now, they are certainly, in their current guise not a party of the working class. Turning their backs on their core support may well cost them the next two elections.

Being a member of a trade union is NOT synonymous with being left wing it just means you see the benefits of banding together to improve your life.

Also I don't think what could be classed as traditional support i.e. the supposed 'working class' is the main core behind labour and that is down to major changes in demographics , more people owning their own houses, more and generally better paid self employed tradespeople , more people going to university , better access to political materials and generally more money around. To generalise the 'middle' class has moved to the left and big chunks of working class have moved to the right.

Economic equality isn't about keeping everyone at the same level, regardless of what they do. It is about allowing for equal opportunity. If someone chooses not to work hard, they should obviously not be given the same economic rewards as someone who does.

Which is capitalism by any other name.
