Laughed out loud at Tory donor Lord Fink who claimed he only opened a Swiss bank account because he needed "a local bank account to do simple little things like receive his Swiss franc salary and pay the grocery bills""

Lord Fink failed to mention that to pay his grocery bills he piled tens of millions of pounds into that account which saved him millions in tax, but that was just a unfortunate coincidence!!

Ed Miliband was correct to call David Cameron. "" A dodgy Prime Minister"" in fact David Cameron and his Tory and Lib Dems cohorts are walking a fine line between dodgy and plain sinple criminality !!

Not only has this government written off multi billions of pounds in tax golden handshakes to Tory donating companies and wealthy individuals , they have also allowed billions to escape the treasury by opening new tax loopholes and turning a blind eye to certain tax avoidance schemes, and on top of that they also cut the little tax that these people and companies were willing to pay on their huge profits and wealth made in this country !! While telling the country that taxing the bedrooms of the poor and disabled and the parents of service men on active duty would help balance the books.

The behaviour of David Cameron and George Osborne and Iain Duncan Smith is so disgusting it is truly stomach turning, they have laid waste to most of working class Britain by forcing austerity down their throats 24/7 while bestowing fortune and wealth and more than the odd peerage to the very wealthy by means of stealth.

You may raise your eye brows that Lord Fink generously donated 3 million pounds to the Tory party untill you realise that just the Tory top rate of tax cut saved him 15 million pounds in this five year parliament !! No wonder the wealthy want another five years of austerity and Tory rule...

And Milliband might do well not to throw stones when he lives in a glass house :

"Labour have benefited, the Guardian says, from cash and gifts in kind worth well over £500,000 and received a loan for £2m." .... clearly Labour are in on the corruption as well.

The thing that's wrong is that there are any large donors at all. It is ludicrous that wealthy individuals heavily bankroll the Conservative Party and one public sector trade union has enormous sway over Labour. Take 50p from every individual via the tax system and devise a formula to distribute the money among the parties and the issue of funding general election campaigns will be solved. AND it'll irritate the Daily Mail.

I guess we need to wait and see if Ed Miliband will have the 'courage' to repeat his allegations without the benefit of Parliamentary immunity.

im raising my eye brow, he's earning £150m a year? i can see why you'd want someone like that around as treasurer. looking forward to see if Miliband calls his bluff and makes the statement in public.

The diverson of calling out a labour donor on this is laughable. The facts about Lord Green were not known until May 2010, after Labour had left office. One ex labour peer as opposed to half the tory party.

Hardly a diversion nor anything to do with when they were in office - Labour also benefited from the corruption. Agreed the Tories more so ( although how you get to the half figure is beyond me ). Both have benefited from tax dodgers while both have insisted that us poor peasants pay all our tax. You might want to come down off that high horse - you could fall and hurt yourself.

You're right to indicate that the Tories have benefited more, but it's so much more. You're also right to put this in the past tense, because there aren't too many tax dodgers that are keen on Ed's Labour party, in stark contrast to that phony Blair's Noo Labour. But it's not past tense with the Tories, who are the party of privilege and the rich.
You're wrong, however, to exclude UKIP from this. For all their recent populist turn, they also are bankrolled by the wealthy, some of which are no doubt tax evaders.

No-one entering politics should be trusted to serve anyone's interest but their own.
There are exceptions but in my experience they are very few.
What party they represent makes no difference. They are as bad as each other.

Exactly the same as the Tories and your beloved Labour really.
More deflection Tsk tsk tsk. Fwiw I didn't vote labour. But then again we didn't have people starving to death corruption on an industrial sale and the general incompatance that we have now under the last labour goverment
