We all know absolutely sod all will be done. It is just lip service. Anyway we set a bad example as the Police and Stewards just stand there and do nothing when this abuse is chanted in and around The Amex.

But then last week at Bolton when our northern brethern started with all the usual amusing ditties, it was pointed out to the stewards, who point blank ignored the complaints.

As I said UB nothing will be done about it as the authorities do not take the matter seriously, neither do BHAFC come to that, to be honest.

I don't think we can take the morale high ground when we respond with 'We just ****ed you in the arse'.

I do hope you're not suggesting that football & satire are now to be deemed as incompatible bedfellows? Bon mots can only be stretched so far, dontcha know... :glare:

Argus has probably the worst journalism of any paper worldwide

Don't read it then, will hopefully stop anymore random posts about it on here.

I like the Argus, always have.

Report them on the hotline, if a steward refuses to implement stadium rules and regs, report them, take their name or a picture,...... you can be sure they would ping you if you broke stadium regs.

"Police have vowed to hunt down Palace fans who chanted homophobic slogans before and after yesterday's derby match. More than 100 fans hurled anti-gay taunts and set off smoke bombs as they were marched up Western Road before the game.
The chants continued during and after the match as as rival fans squared up outside of the stadium. A police spokesman said officers were deployed with videos and if offences were committed then those responsible will be identified."

Although some 'homophobic' chants are merely a perceived assault on a person/group of persons masculinity.

As a gay Albion fan I find most chants just childish. It's peoples reaction to them that amuses me more than anything.

That said, there are some nasty folk out there who clearly have a gripe (the Palace forum is quite disturbing in places), however chanting about us 'taking it up the bum' is not really the most revealing way of identifying them.
