im looking at a house down Lynholm rd in Polegate. satellite survellance (love google maps) shows what is pretty obviously a gygsy site over the back to the south. you cant see anything from the back of the garden due to substantial trees.

Im inclinded to not be too bothered by static sites as they are less likely to be a problem if they cant hook up the caravan and bugger off. i havent heard of any trouble ( i know there were transient gypsies causing problems off the A27 a year or two back) from family in Hailsham.

so i ask the oracle if they are still there and if they have caused any particular grief.

Has been there for donkeys years, they are static mobile homes, there is never any problems.

The static homes are usually for over 55s so you'll likely be complaining about the smell of blue rinse rather than gypsies!

I dunno if its the official name but its called poly arch, I've lived and worked in Polegate for 15 years and never had a problem with those pikeys, I wouldn't worry too much mate
