Apologies for stupid mistakes in last post. I took the fixtures from my electronic diary and missed a couple of midweek games :-(

Corrected post here:

Last year we were in the same position as now (16 points from 7 games) but we only took 4 points from the following 7 games. - Our first bad run last year.

Comparing the same or equivalent games last year, we took only 9 points from the first 7 games against the same (or equivalent) teams.

In the subsequent 7 games (or against equivalent teams) we took 9 points last year. If we match that, we would have 25 points from the first 14 games.

Birmingham (h). Draw
Ipswich (h). Win
Derby (a) win
Midd (h) draw
Leicester (a) loss
Bpool (a) loss
Leeds ( h) draw

(Last year we won all home games against the 3 relegated teams and took only 3 points home or away against the 3 teams who were promoted.)

Target should be at least 26 points. This would be 8 (or more) points better than the same games last year. (To be promoted we need around 20 more points throughout the season)

Don't want to look too far ahead - how can anyone judge seven games as injuries & form change?

I do think the Birmingham game is a very important one to win as we may be without CMS & Bruno and they have some decent players , I think we will beat Ipswich with any formation we put out.

These 7 look easier than the previous 7 games. I'm going large with At least 30 points, so 16 from the next 7 for me

Don't know about next SEVEN games but fair chance of winning next 2 games. 7 consecutive wins would surely be a club record at this level? Anyone know the stats?

Never seen a manager look so dejected as Clark did in the post match interview. Could be a tough season for him if he lasts that long.

You obviously never saw Slades post match interview up at Huddersfield a
few years ago then

I think we might drop points against Boro, Leicester and Blackpool, but we will win the rest, starting with another thumping 3-0 win against a truly shit Birmingham team.

So 13 or 14 points from the 7 games I think.
