One surprise win.
No surprise loses.
More draws than expected.

I reckon we might even squeak into double figures.
Would love for one of the draws to turn into another unexpected win, if only to haul the rest of us up to the Courageous Crew's levels of positivity.

That's the spirit! :)

Through all our trials and tribulations in the PL, we have 149 pts from 143 games = 1.04 points per game.

Under Potter we have 73 points from 67 games = 1.09 points per game.

Statistical logic would suggest 8-12 is a more than reasonable objective projection of where we'll hopefully be with 9 to play.

I am absolutely convinced we will beat Sheffield Utd. The law of averages suggests that after not winning 5 games against the bottom 3 we are due a win in our 6th.

I think we'll beat Leeds as well.

Also 4 points from Everton, Wolves and West Ham.

Giving 10 points....

With at least 1 more from Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal...

Making 11 and a finish of 43 points.

8 or 9.
I'm ruling out any points from Man City or Chelsea. 1 point from Man Utd/Arsenal would be a bonus.
8 points from Wolves, West Ham, Everton, Leeds and Sheffield U.

Thought we did really well at City when they were bang coming into form. Title will be done, dusted and handed over prior to their visit to us, their team will be thinking about Champions League/Euros. Great chance for an upset I feel that one.

Realistically Fulham are not going to get 40 points, that would be winning something like 5 out of 8. More likely they'll finished around 35-37 points. So safety could be achieved with us getting 6+ points. It would be an almighty collapse for us to not make that.

The next three are really tough, but then Sheff Utd, Leeds, Wolves, Man City and Arsenal won't have anything to play for. (Not that I think we'll get anything from City). West Ham may well be in with a shout of a CL place (or at worst a Europa League place)...so that's likely to be tough.

My guess would be 6 points from Sheff Utd/Wolves/Leeds, plus at least three draws from the rest. Nine points from nine games....might even finish above Southampton :)

Hopefully enough to not end up in the nightmare of Fulham & Newcastle needing to play out a draw on last game of the season to send us down......

Sadly, I think we will get 4 or 5 points and will be looking over our shoulder for the last couple of games.

Chelsea, Man Utd, Everton all still have something to play for when we will play them. I'd be happy if we took one point from nine in those.
Sheff Utd could actually be relegated by the time of our match. Leeds and Wolves seasons' will probably be over. Those three are obviously our best chances for wins. Winning two, or winning one and drawing at least one other would probably make us comfortable going into the last three.
West Ham and, at an outside chance, Arsenal could still be looking at European qualification, but City will probably have won the league and have other fish to fry. Given that West Ham and Arsenal have been fragile against us in previous seasons, we could hang our hopes on something against one of them, but knowing Brighton, we'll probably lose them both and get something from the Champions.

I don’t understand the number of people saying we won’t get anything from Everton. We are in better form than them recently and they have lost to Fulham and Burnley recently. We should be targeting at least a point there.
