I was referring to myself as being the donut! I chose 21 options for the poll, forgetting it was 0-21 not 1-21 but too late to edit. No big deal in the grand scheme of things really.

My expectation is we set ourselves up to win all the games to go up in style and achieve 21 points. A 7 game winning run is not out of the question of course it will be down to whose nerve holds most and who wants it most. Lady luck will figure in ther but you can make your own luck if you try hard enough.

Apologies - did read like you were having a dig at the other poster. We did of course win all eights games in a month under Poyet so anything's possible. 21 points is more likely than 0!


I reckon 14 is not unreasonable. The four home games all seem winnable, so say win three and draw one. Then win one, draw one and lose one for the away games. 14 points would put us on 91. Two more points than last season with one game left. Surely enough to see us up?

I've gone for 13 points as I think we'll drop a couple at home with one draw (no idea which of the four home games) and win at one of QPR or Wolves while losing at the other and Norwich.

Where that will leave us at the end of the month, I have no idea. Think it will mean it is in our hands going to Villa (Huddersfield will need to get a minimum of 20 points from 8 for it to be in their hands) but no idea whether it will still be open or if we'll have been promoted by then. Whatever happens, it almost certainly be a very tense month!
