Not keen on the adulation for Glendenning. This week's Moon Under Water pod is a bit of a crossover, as the guest is Football Weekly's Barry Glendenning.
It's quite some listen, as it's something of an emotional rollercoaster.

Baz describing his perfect pub might not be for you.Not keen on the adulation for Glendenning.
With all due respect to you. I know him first hand. If you remember from this thread, I once mentioned that my son was "Producer Jonathan" from the Football Weekly. Glendenning is really not a nice person. Drunk Irishman in a pub may be some peoples idea of fun.Baz describing his perfect pub might not be for you.
I am a fanboy, but that said the interview does take Baz away from his schtick and aspects of it certainly took many friends and fans by surprise.
That's the point of the interview being quite revelatory. With all due respect to you. I know him first hand. Oh hell, thats really awful. I've been listening to that show for years, including when Gareth Richards was on and he was such an integral part of getting me 'hooked' on it. A very funny man, no ego at all, he was perfect for the show with his silly and wry observations. I'm not usually one to be overly affected by people in the public eye passing on, but I listened to him for a long time, it'll be so tragic if he doesn't pull through. I gather he's in a coma.![]()
