El Presidente you rather strayed into football, this week.

To be honest I'm not happy, don't let it happen again.

They won't let on what films they'll be Rewatching together other than it's a trilogy.

‘Dunkirk’ With Sean Fennessey, Chris Ryan, and Quentin Tarantino The Ringer’s Sean Fennessey and Chris Ryan are joined by writer-director Quentin Tarantino to rewatch the first movie in a three-part Rewatchables series handpicked by Quentin Tarantino. To begin the series, they set out for the coast of France to retrieve their men.

Will try not to this week, where we identify one Premier League football club that might be in the financial doo doo and why Stoke City want to scrap FFP.

I dunno if you know your way round a card table, if you do I definitely recommend a Rounders double.

Matt Damon (naturally) is a card savont gets lured back to his old poker days by Ed Norton.

The accompanying podcast is great fun as the guys are all card fiends as well, making for a very enjoyable listen, although I'd imagine less so if poker leaves you cold.

In the off chance I can convince someone other than Easy 10 to listen to movie pod The Rewatchables, this week's would be a good place to start.

The boys are again joined by Quentin Tarantino to discuss his hero Tony Scott's last film, Unstoppable.

In preparation for the pod I rewatched the film over the weekend and am really enjoying the listen.

It's good to hear QT fan boying Scott and Washington.

Chris Ryan nails the film within the first minute with a great takedown of train travel, very funny and so true.

Slightly annoyed I've taken your recommendation on this, and now rewatched BHCopII and Man on Fire...:hilton:

QT is right though, the jewelry robbery scene in Cop II sets up so many that followed it, most notably Mann's Heat.

 I also watched Man on Fire yesterday.

Loving Chris Ryan's screaming start to the pod:-

"You can't get 25 trucks into that siding, move to the rip track - I have no idea what I'm talking about"

I’m listening to Balance at the moment, most episodes are good, depending on who is the guest. Karl Pilkington this week and glad to say he’s still a funny man.

We Have Ways... is consistently excellent but the last three parted has been very moving.

And audiobook wise I have been taking advantage of Audible’s recent offers.
A 39 hr epic on the life of Adolf Hitler by Alex Kershaw. It’s heavy but tremendously good.
And
Seashaken Houses by Tom Nancollas; a history of lighthouses. I find lighthouses fascinating and romantic and I’m really enjoying this.

I got into this podcast because of your recommendation and Unstoppable is one of my favourite action films so your work has not gone unnoticed :)

After watching it as a pre show loosener, I realised that would be my third time of watching and I still really enjoyed it, not bad for a 'forgotten' film.

I thoroughly enjoyed that episode, it seemed like Chris and Bill were surprised by the choice and then really got into the film again, making it the definition of a 'rewatchable'.

I'm seriously boring myself with callbacks to The Rewatchables, but they're at it again.
Fingers crossed they'll now have a couple of weeks of Mallory's chick-flixs and I can breath easy.

This time it's two-fold.

Tarantino's third choice is King of New York.
1990 neo-noir crime thriller exploitation film with just about everybody you want making their first big splash.

Anyhoo QT just goes nuts talking around this film.
He spends most of the time giving inside Hollywood gossip, which is fascinating.

I was somewhat meh about the film when I watched it last week, but listening to the pod afterwards really bought the film to life.

Secondly

They've just published their most relistened top 10, the winner being:-

Jaws.

That's a great listen.

I've just finished their Fast Five one. Just a lovely listen.
