Imagine the panic at Chelsea when De Zerbi left Brighton. Oh no, if we're going to sack Poch, need to do it now so we can go for whoever Brighton want. Quick, cut and paste the Brighton press release. Mutual decision sounds about right. Going in different directions? Yep, sounds good. Now who are Brighton after? McKenna. Who's he. Oh, someone in the Championship - never heard of him. Oh well, Brighton will have done the research and due diligence. Who else are they looking at? Some bloke at Stuttgart? OK, stick him on the list too. Can he be persuaded to bring their goalscorer too, Undav is it? What, he's a Brighton player on loan? OK, bring him too. Offer Brighton, thinks for a moment, €60m. No, make that £60m and make sure. OK Mr Winstanley, make it happen. And take Sam Jewell to Germany when you fly out there. They speak Spanish don't they?

Tracks with what other players such as Kyle Walker have said about playing under Poch and makes you question whether he would have done well here as suggested by some posters at the time of his sacking.

I don't think there's any question tbh. Would have been a disaster imo. Hugely over rated manager.

Interesting insight from Caicedo. 'Run, run run'.

I can't help remembering how the messiah Bielsa used to beast the Leeds players to run the opposition into submission.

It works up to a point I guess. Run further and work harder than the opposition.
