Indeed not. However we will have the chance to increase the gap (Home to Swindon, Away to Dag & Red) whilst they're not playing. Win those (not nailed on, I know) and the pressure will be on them.

Perhaps, my point is that we can't take it for granted. Football can be a bit weird with things like this. The team that should be fresher because they didn't have a game midweek look off the pace when they play a team who are playing their third game in 8 days. The team that is decimated by injuries overcoming a squad of first choice players, the ten men beating 11. These things that should be good things in theory are too frequently not.

Sorry, not taking a huge deal of care over my phrasing because I'm at work and just flitting on. If I come across as short, or trying to shut down the discussion I don't mean to be.

No apology required. Valid points you raise. I think the main thing is we have a CHANCE to increase whatever gap we have over Southampton at that time (hopefully still 10 points) by 6 points.
That would be MASSIVE.

Has having a fixture pile up this month done us any harm so far?

As far as results go, no, but over the past 4 games we've not been as convincing as we were, and that's playing teams in the bottom half of the league.

Strange that the team that is struggling is the team with International players.

For those footballing giants New Zealand (yes I know we also have a New Zealand international) and Zimbawe. I could get an international call up if I'd be born in Zimbawe.

I'm surprised Argyle have tried this trick again.
Mind you I hope it works better for them than when they put us off at the beginning of the season.
