Congratulations to Plymouth, really chuffed for you. I had the honour of going down to Plymouth a few years ago with Seagull70, Woodchip, and Muhammed I’m Ard aka Guinness Dave, when they played Accrington Stanley. They were fighting off a greedy owner plotting to get the land at Home Park, but Lady Astor had entailed it, to be always used for sport.

Richard Vaughan couldn’t get a ticket for their game today, but we exchanged messages on FB whilst our games were on. A great bloke and I’m so chuffed for him.

29th April should now be renamed Paul Mariner day in those parts I reckon.

I too am thrilled with this news, Plymouth being a club I've always had an unexplained soft spot for. I remember seeing us promoted down there in 2001, and winning another game with an Ashley Barnes goal against his old side. Delighted to see them in the Championship, especially at the expense of some much bigger (more massive, you might say) and richer clubs. Go on and win the title please.
