Has anyone ever managed to get one of these £9 Travelodge sale rooms? I think they're a Yeti-like myth. Couple of times for work trips would have been handy, but not a sniff, even at very off-peak times.

Have you done anything silly like googled 'cheap hotels in Plymouth' or 'Bed and Breakfasts in Plymouth'?

yes I have, I am not a 15 year old school boy, I just wanted any CONSTRUCTIVE recommendations from where people have stayed before, therefore if you have nothing constructive to say its best you say nothing, its silly little comments like yours that make NSC crap sometimes.

Thank you

Harsh for someone that was trying to help.

You sound like a 15 year old school girl actually and its threads such as this that contribute to the general crapness on this board.

We used Jurys a couple of seasons ago, it was very reasonable and in the centre, good car park out the back but you have to be up at 8am to put money in the meter (think its 8??)

i've been having another think for you today, and theres a coiple more i've come up with.

Duke of Cornwall Hotel is a nice one..not sure how pricey though? I've only ever been there for a sixth form may ball

If you want a B&B type place..the Alma hotel may be a good bet? Its only about a 10 minute walk from the ground. My mum once applied for a job as a receptionist there in the 80's

I agree that's probs the best bet, its a bus ride to the ground from there though. Various buses would be suitable..1 or 1a i would get.

I live in saltash too by the way saltash seagull :clap2: ..i only say plymouth as its the nearest big city!

Only travel lodge thAt's £55 per night will stay 2 nights and take in Eden project. I would expect cheaper accomodation being mid week and no school holidays,

travel lodge advertises a sale from£9 but of course not avail

I've stayed in that one, it's pretty basic !

Not sure about hotels, but for a quiet pre-match or post-match drink, head to Union Street. I've never met a friendly bunch before in my life. My, you could easily walk into any bar along there, shout "Argyle are shit" or "everyone in the Royal Navy are absolute tossers" and you'll be sure of a hearty welcome.
