Plug Fuse Question.

Probably a damn fool question, but here goes:

Plugs, do they all have 13 Amp written on regardless of what the fuse is inside?

I ask because my blender stopped working and went to put a 13A fuse in as that is what is on the plug, then noticed a sticker on the back saying Fitted with a 3 amp fuse. Inside is indeed a 3 amp fuse.

Yes - 13 amp is the maximum for the plug, not for the appliance or cable that is fitted.
