Well they aren’t going to over perform their xG that much in many games. Unless the individuals happen to be incredibly good finishers. Which we know isn’t the case.

I would imagine the 3 goals from 3 chances stat, was already framed and on Bamford's wall before he went to sleep last night. Deadly :lolol:

They will do okay. The new Sheffield United.

They could be. They'll certainly be worth watching. They could also concede 3 every single game.

Juvenile Albion fans need stop starting silly spats on Twitter.

Never, ever going to happen. You should see my teenage son's Insta account (actually, no, you shouldn't). We only let him into mutual follows with his mates, one of whom is a Norwich fan, and they were trolling each other Bear Pit stylee before both our games with them last season.

Hahahah, you absolute clown. You come on the forum of the only team who actually did have more possession than Liverpool in a PL game at Anfield. You could have literally picked any other side.

We also only lost by one own goal in that game.

Not the only team, Man City had 55% possession at Anfield, despite losing 3-1.

That is the problem with Leeds and the way Bielsa has them playing - they will score goals but they will leak a lot of goals - and chances are there will be a few games where they will get an utter hammering.

Now - they did look good enough to avoid relegation - but, over time, teams will figure out how to be more effective against them. However, it should be fun to watch.

Brighton had 55% possession last season

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50526608

Leeds had 51%

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54038549

so stats are

Liverpool v/s leeds (this season) Brighton (last season)

Poss Leeds 51% Brighton poss 55%
Goals Leeds 3 Brighton 1
Shots Leeds 6 Brighton 12
corner Leeds 0 Brighton 5

I Hope its ok to point this out

Poor old Killer Willie.

It's always nice when a fan of different club pops on to our forum to state an opinion about yet another different club that absolutely nobody gives a shit about

We scored three goals at Anfield and had more possession than Liverpool, something no team did last season.

But I am hugely disappointed. Gutted. The first goal was never a penalty, admittedly but to come away without getting a point just wasn't good enough. We should have seen the game through but our defence was woeful. Keystone cops.

Maybe you understand a little more why we rate Bielsa so highly, though? That is how football should be played, and that is his philosophy. Always commit players to the attack.

That is a ridiculous comment.
Trying to think of any time in my football watching life, when the ball striking a defender's outstretched arm, was not a definite penalty.

You played impressively and yes I can see why your fans rate Bielsa so highly, but don't be a dick.
Implying a poor decision cost you. is very far from the truth.

Even with the good performance your Xg was <0.33.
On another day you will get humped 4-0 with the same performance.

So despite having a go at a well under par Liverpool side Leeds lost to a top 4 side just like everyone else scrapping from 6th downwards does. To be fair the media don’t help predicting a high finish for no apparent reason other than they are called Leeds.

I was just quoting Souness from Sky. Agreed it was foolish to think he knew anything about what he was talking of, but there you go.

As I read the rule, it isn't a penalty if it comes off another part of the body, as it clearly did yesterday.
