What’s it called? Cumbernauld
Lamptey gets better and better
Trossard getting back to his early season form
We battled on through early blunders and didn’t look overawed
Maupay impresses every game with his work rate
Mac allister’s passing is so crisp he’s only getting better

Add away your thoughts good folk

Agree with everything.

Also think Mac Allister is getting better defensively, as he was quite poor in his first couple of starts in that regard.

I couldn't work out what Martin Tyler was going on about with Mac Allister - he was putting in some excellent first time balls. He seems to spot space more quickly than our other players

Thought Connolly looked very lively and made himself a couple of very good chances. He's lacking confidence, but once he gets that back, and he will, he looks capable of scoring plenty.

Agree with all that, I'll add Bissouma keeps getting more and more exciting to watch.

He was shockingly bad when he came on, so many loose touches and giving it away. Not seen that from him for a good few games now,

he needs to be playing and building up that relationship with Maupay.

Very positive performance, a little more luck with the run of the ball and it could’ve been a different result. Really looking forward to next season (assuming we’ve enough points already).

We were watching different games, he makes things happen, always on the front foot, I agree a couple of times the 3rd Liverpool player tackled him. Needs a partner with pace or guile. No surprise he looks better next to Propper.

I thought they were both playing 10 half time. 21 the winner. This playing with no fans in the stadium could catch on. Players are not scared to make mistakes. And everyone made loads of them but makes for good TV matches.

Any decent striker is going to want to be signed by us, this window.

Obviously not great to go 2-0 down in 7 or 8 mins. But after that, we were excellent. Liverpool are so dangerous when they get the ball early.

The pundits focus on our change in style of football but we’ve done that whilst bringing into the team Lamptey, Webster, Burn, Bissouma, Mac Allister, Mooy, Trossard, Maupay and Connolly. That’s 9 (nine)* players who are now regulars who weren’t before.

That’s an exceptional amount of change within a very short period whilst staying up (hopefully comfortably).

Klopp calls us “a really, really good football team” and, let’s face it, he knows his stuff.

Next season is exciting.

*Nod to any score round-up.
