Shelvey's isn't even the best Newcastle goal on the video - that one from the corner was miles better, showing magnificent technique to keep the ball down and hammer home on the volley from a tight angle direct from a corner. Shelvey's looks good because he's put it in the only place the keeper couldn't get it, and top corner goals always look aesthetically pleasing, but QPR are shit defensively and gave him all the time in the world to line it up. He wouldn't have had the time to line that one up against our defence at the moment, I can tell you.
