...PLEASE win on Saturday Albion! Just look at the table, and the fixtures:

1 Brighton 9 7 20
2 Bournemouth 9 13 17
3 Carlisle 9 8 16
4 Rochdale 9 7 16
5 Peterborough 9 6 16
6 Colchester 9 4 15
7 Charlton 9 2 15
8 Huddersfield 9 2 14

Saturday, 2 October 2010
Brentford v Charlton, 15:00
Carlisle v Peterborough, 15:00
Dag & Red v Swindon, 15:00
Exeter v Rochdale, 15:00
Huddersfield v Bristol Rovers, 15:00
MK Dons v Colchester, 15:00
Notts County v Sheff Wed, 15:00
Oldham v Leyton Orient, 15:00
Plymouth v Hartlepool, 15:00
Southampton v Bournemouth, 15:00
Tranmere v Brighton, 15:00
Walsall v Yeovil, 15:00

The only team I would really put my mortgage on winning this weekend within six points of us now is Huddersfield. If we do win, the table could very well look very, very tidy indeed by 5pm on Saturday.

I would put my mortgage on either Carlisle or Peterboro winning :lolol:

ive got a feeling we'll get beat but then again i had that feeling against old ham and bentford

Come on the albion lets be at least four points clear at the top before we meet bournemouth.

Soton v Bournemouth and Carlisle v Peterborough, two interesting ties. Two draws for these would be pleasing.

It's hard to shake off that feeling that the Albion will fail when they have destiny in their own hands. it has happened so often, but I am starting to believe that this squad has the right skill and the right mental attitude coupled with strength in depth and savvy management to get us out of this division. I was happy with a top half of the table finish pre-season.

Nobody can overtake us as long as we don't lose.

So a draw wouldn't be a disaster.... But a WIN would be nice..

UP THE ALBION

The ideal scenario is a win and a 6 point gap.

i am going to up the ante here - what if we get that 6 point lead AND beat bournemouth at home in a 1215 kick off? we could be 9 pts clear in early october... for a couple of hours

I have a funny feeling about this Snaturday.
We've been building up towards giving someone a proper dicking.
Tranmere are a really poor side, I think we'll TROUNCE them 4-0.
Fingers crossed that the other results go our way.

If this is the case we need Bournmouth to win as I want a 1st vs 2nd game live on the tele

I want Bournemouth to win too. Not only would it be great to have 1st v 2nd on telly but it would be another home defeat for the South Coast Club to mull over
