I think comments on Babel are pretty harsh.

Kuyt has adapted well to being played out of position (typical Benitez).

Babel has not. Babel is NOT a winger, he is a striker, and a good one at that. He has never been given a proper run of games in his best position. You can see the class in him trying to get out.

He is on the fringes of the Holland team, currently ranked 3rd in the world.

According to his own website, he is a 'left winger/forward'. Whether that has changed from just 'forward' since he joined Liverpool I don't know!

Nicklas Bendtner always looks out of his depth to me. The new Francis Jeffers?

Bendtner scored 15 goals last season.

9 of which were in the league - the same as Berbatov, more than Owen, 1 less than Adebayor and Defoe and only 3 behind Rooney.

Not bad.
