Young men in their 20’s in non Trappist monk activity a few times over a nine month period rumour. Hell in a handcart awaits no doubt.

Poor mugs for supporters spending many hundreds of pounds to watch their bloated players lose week in, week out rumour. I'd say it's all relative and they have a responsibility.

There was an infamous incident where a player gave his heart monitoring device to his girlfriend to wear at the gym so he didn't have to go.

I'd be absolutely amazed there was a drinking culture at the club under Bloom. If players have been spotted in exclusive nightclubs it's simply an excuse for said poster to tell inform everyone they were there as well.

I'd say their main responsibility is to themselves in the end. If you've got role models like Bruno and Murray around you, both playing well into their mid-thirties in the top division, and you still can't see further than your next night on the town, then, yeah, go for it, then wonder where it all went.

If it's a few days before a game then so what? Good to know the players get along so well they want to socialise together. Would be more worrying if that wasn't the case.

If they're doing it on a Tuestday night when we're not playing until Saturday then it's not a problem. If they're doing it on a Friday night before a Saturday game then I'll be concerned.

It also depends on what late night activities they were up to. So long as it's not the night before a match, a late night in itself isn't likely to be a problem for fit, healthy young men. If however heavy drinking (or recreational drugs) is involved, it becomes a different matter.

As you say, it’s a rumour, no facts to back it up. The players each face a million pound a year pay cut if the Albion are relegated, they’re not out on the lash all the time as they’re not that stupid.
