Too narrow, too pedestrian. Buckley should have won it for us, but Blackpool probably deserved a point.

Koosh 7 No chance with the goal kicking ok
Ward 8 MOM very good performance positive runs and decent crosses
Bruno 6.5 decent enough
Upson 7 Solid and dependable
Greer 6 Looked injured second half
Stephens 6.5 at times looks the business but can fade out of games. Great goal though.
Andrews 6 Didn't really stamp his authority
March 5 not at the races today in the middle but needs time
Lingard 6 linked better with Ulloa but sloppy in possession
Lua Lua 3 Awful really awful. Cheats with his constant diving. One trick pony. No football brain.
Ulloa 6 Average - worked hard but no real chances.

Subs

Macca - tried hard but touch hasn't improved
Buckley - no impact on the game.
Lopez - little chance to impress.

Not enough menace in front of goal. Players need to break their necks to get into the box and be more ruthless. Little interchange of passes in midfield or one touch stuff to break down a stubborn organised Blackpool defence. Not enough movement and at times certain midfielders not showing enough for the ball and being brave so we then lump it from the back. Can't say I'm that wowed by our football atheistically this season.

Very very frustrating yet again. Considering we are fighting for a playoff place it would have been nice to see all the players giving 100%. Sadly that was far from the case today.

Kuszczack 7. Could do nothing about the goal. Otherwise a good solid game.
Bruno 6. Brilliant and frustrating in equal measures (as per usual). Would prefer to see Calderon at RB.
Greer 4. Far too many aimless hoofs upfield to no one. A player of his experience should not be doing that. Add a few defensive errors and all together not a very good performance. Would like to see Dunk in his place for the last two games.
Upson 7. Good solid performance again. MoM.
Ward 7. Good performance let down by a couple of truly awful crosses near the end.
Andrews 5. OK at times, but needs to pass the ball forwards more. Often seems to lack awareness of the best passing options.
Stephens 7. Very well taken goal and overall a decent performance, but knocked off the ball far too easily on more than one occasion.
March 3. What has happened to him? His game has gone to pot since OG moved him into the middle. Completely ananymous. When he did get the ball did nothing productive with it.
Lua Lua 6. Did he deserve more free kicks in the 1st half or was he going down too easily? Needs to stay on his feet more. Prefer him as an impact sub. Today's performance shows that he probably shouldn't start.
Lingard 6. Some good stuff, but as with KLL he needs to stay on his feet.
Ulloa 6. Very nice lay-off to Stephens for the goal. Otherwise not very impressive. Noticed his lack of speed today.

Subs:
Buckley 5. Didn't do enough. Awful miss near the end. Should at least have tested the goalie.
CMS 6. Good to see him back. Brings some much needed energy to the team. Still finding his feet after such a long lay-off, but would like to see him start on Friday and sub him if/when he tires.
David. Not on long enough. Pointless substitution.

Manager 5. He really should have been able to fire the team up for this one.The team's performance once again matched his personality ... drab and boring.

Ref 3. Should have been wearing an orange shirt in the first half. Appeared to have had a look at the rule book at half time as a slighly more even-handed approach to the game in the 2nd half.

Kuszczak 6 - I think 95% of his kick outs went to a Blackpool player
Bruno 6 - got forward, but crossing was awful
Greer 5.5 - Too many wasted balls, found himself far forward, then took forever to get back even though Blackpool were attacking
Upson 6
Ward 6.5 - got forward, crossing generally not great, but did manage a couple of good ones
Andrews 5.5 - gave the ball away a lot
Stephens 6 - poor set pieces, gave the ball away a lot, but a good goal
March 5 - Not in the game
Lingard 6
Lualua 6 - not helped by the ref, but no real threat
Ulloa 5.5 - didn't seem interested in scoring

Buckley 5.5 - Get back from injury not in form yet
CMS 6 - tried to make himself a nuisance
Lopez - Not on long enough, but didn't seem to do much.

I don't see us making the play offs now. Yes, we're in 6th, but since we're almost certainly going to have to get something from Forest, and they will be wanting to win, I don't see us as having the players who have that fight and desire that we will need to beat Forest. I've seen nothing this season that shows us as being up for the fight.

As for the game, it was just slow and lacking in basic skills. Blackpool seemed to want it more, they were faster to close us down, more alert to loose balls, they seemed to read so many of our passes. It was just a bad game.

I often defend referees because they are usually not as bad as fans make them out to be, but I don't think I could defend today's referee for the most part. There may be decisions here and there, but overall he just seemed to miss so many obvious fouls.

Koosh - 7 made saves to keep as level, good commanding too with their crosses
Bruno - 7 had a lot to do going forward as our actual forwards were poor, defended okay as well!
Greer - 5 his pace almost conceded a second goal, but Upson converted that situation well
Upson - 7 solid
Ward - same as Bruno
Andrews - 5 not the type of player we needed today, should have played Lopez or JFC to creat passes
Stephens - 6 scored the goal, not his best today
March - 3 poor
LuaLua - 5 looked for too many free kicks. Promised a lot, delivered nothing
Lingard - 4 really don't rate him, 5M?? Jog on.
Ulloa - 6 good flick ons and hold up play, great header too in the first half. Should of impacted the game more though

I saw a sign up at Falmer station saying that someone had found a blind persons cane, was it yours?
