Way out west
It is weird isn't it, the fans used to be the big embarassment when England travelled away...remember scenes like Charleroi...now the boot is on the other foot, they seem to be welcomed almost everywhere, it is just the players where the attitude problems exist!

f***ing awful. I was hoping after a few hours sleep I'd be more reflective and able to pull out the positives, but no, I'm still in a foul mood and unable to think of anything positive to say about that clueless, tepid shower of shite.

James - 6 - didn't have much to do, but looked solid.
Johnson - 6 - did enough in his position
Terry - 5 - a poor back pass could have been a disaster. Average performance, certainly not the player he thinks he is.
Carragher - 3 - a joke. Too slow and a silly yellow card. Fortunately, it means we won't have to put up with him in the next match.
Cole - 6 - average performance.
Barry - 6.5 - a decent first half and hopefully will see more of him.
Gerrard - 5 - didn't show the leadership you expect from a captain, bottled some chances to score.
Lampard - 4 - Mr Anonymous again. Had one shot that didn't trouble anyone. needs to be dropped for another poor performance.
Lennon 4 - All huff and puff and no end product.
Heskey - 5 - Worked hard but looked out of his depth even against a poor side.
Rooney - 4 - petulant child, contributed nothing of value and is only in the team because of his reputation.

James 7 - clean sheet, what else?
Johnson 4 - beaten several times down left flank, and poor distribution going forward.
Terry 4 - several times Barry bailed him out when he fell asleep.
Carragher 4 - not good enough, glad he's banned.
Cole 5 - if only he had Cole in front of him, we might create something.

Lennon 3 - achieved precisely nothing.
Lampard 3 - can't even take a corner, laxy, got to drop him now.
Gerrard 6 - our top outfielder in both games, at least he goes box to box and leads by example.
Barry 6 - tired, but did his job well for an hour.

Heskey 5 - tried as hard as anyone, Rooney's fitnes is the issue, not Heskey.
Rooney 2 - what is wrong? he could not even trap the ball at his feet...

Worthing
6 being average

James - 6 - One dodgy moment, other than that ok

Johnson - 3 - simply dreadful, can't defend, distribution shocking.
Terry - 5 - one awful back pass
Carragher - 6 - steady, but uninspiring
Cole - 6 - as Carragher

Barry - 7 - best England player for me.
Lampard - 3 - Not good enough. Same as Trevor Francis, John Barnes, Ian Wright etc... Good at club level but does not have international ability based on England performances.
Gerrard - 4 - out of position
Lennon - 3 - scared

Rooney - 4 - looked injured before the tournament started and still is.
Heskey - 3 - second touch a sliding tackle, just rubbish.

Wright-Phillips - 4 - out of his depth, but looked keen
Defoe - 4 - see Wright-Phillips
Crouch - not on long enough

Capello - 4 - what is going on?

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
I don't think I've seen an England game where the goal keeper has had to field so many back passes during the 90 minutes
