El Abd - 6 - Solid. One of his better games
Virgo - 5 - Distribution WOEFUL and captains should lead
Elphick - 6 The better centre half today
Hoyte - 6 Had some good moments going forward
Navarro - 4 - Anonymous
Crofts - 7 - MOM
Dicker - 6 - Okay
Bennett - 7 but faded horrendously second half
Dickinson - 6 - Had some bright moments
Forster - 5 - Missed a sitter by his standards

Kuipers - 0 - Didn't make a save, made a mess of both chances.
El-abd - 7 - fine
Elphick - 3 - joke for the second goal, fine otherwise
Virgo - 4 - too slow, hasn't stopped hoofing unlike elphick
hoyte - 6 - didn't do much wrong
Dicker - 6 - composed as usual but didnt do anything
Crofts - 6 - not one of his best games, but if those two headers go in and don't hit the bar then it's a different story
Bennett - 7 - great first half, only person bothered
Navarro - 1 - f***ing abysmal
Forster - 2 - 2 is being generous, what an embarrassing couple of misses
Dickinson - 3 - stay on your feet for god sake

Kuipers - 1; possibly his worst game for the club. But it doesn't seem that there is a defensive unit at all
Hoyte - 5; OK, but he ain't going back to the Emirates for the first team in a hurry
Elphick - 4; poor. Lack of experience is no longer an excuse
Virgo - 4; also poor, and not a team captain.
El-Abd - 4; he tries, bless him. But Oldham had done their homework and knew where the weak link was.
Dicker - 6; probably deserved mom, which says it all really.
Navarro - 4; why was he brought back.
Crofts - 5; not good by recent standards
Bennett - 6; good delivery from some of the set pieces and worked hard for most of the game, although even his head went down after the second goal.
Forster - 5; also had probably his worst game for the club.
Dickinson - 6; did ok against an experienced centre half, but he doesn't look like a goalscorer.

Cox - 2; why bring him on?
Hart - 2; ditto.

Slade - 0; offered nothing, changed nothing, panic substitutions.

Kuipers 1 awful
Hoyte 5 streets ahead as a defender from anyone else
Elphick 1 poor
Virgo -10 useless as a player and the worst captain this side has had for many a year
El Abd -5 Couldn't read a Spot the Dog book let alone the game of football
Bennett 6 best player on the park for us
Crofts 5 ok but lacks invention
Dicker 4 not his best today
Navarro -20 over weight, slow, needs armbands he's so far out of his depth
Forster 4 needs a few games to get up to speed
Dickinson 0 needs to appreciate that football is played with a football. Nearly always looks to foul the defender before attempting to reach for the ball. Must have a balance problem as appears to need to rest on his heels all the time. Not interested in playing for us and should be shown the door.

I'm not sure people should be rating Dickinson and Navarro. The thread title says Player Ratings, not People On The Pitch Ratings.

Ratings are pointless and irrelevant.
The bare facts are....we have a lot of players who are not good enough for this level of football.
Those that are...Mcnulty, Whing, Dicker, Crofts, Bennett and Forster.
The rest can go....garbage....not good enough or not interested. A lot of dross drawing money under false pretences.
Kuipers...so poor now, its just plain embarrassing. Virgo and Elphick...tweedledee and tweedledum. Two of the worst centrebacks in the whole division. Lumbering, cumbersome, crude and talentless. El Abd, Wright and Hawkins are conference standard. Navarro ( Div2 player )...Cox...the worst player on the books, playing about 3 levels above his actual ability. Hart ( over the top...needs to be put out to grass ) Murray..ability but not interested...Dickinson..awful...clumsy,splay footed, awkward...hasn't got a clue.
The rest I'm not going to waste breath on.

I think you were watching the wrong match fella -Elphick was abysmal today, even by his standards. Hoofed the ball at every opportunity, can't anticipate anything and again was totally turned inside out for the second goal.

I must have missed that - or are you talking about the second half where he managed to scythe an attacker down 3 seconds after the ball had gone?
