Agree with most of those though. Thought Crofts was ok today, Dicker should come in for Navaro on Friday though!

I thought Crofts played pretty well today. Can't say the same for his first couple of games though (even though people were druelling over him).
Hawkins doesn't even deserve a 0.

Ok 4, did not influence the game in any way, gave to much space to the opposition. Made one good pass.

Tunnicliffe - 6 - Mixed display, show glimpses of quality.

Elphick - 7 - Fairly solid, very unlucky with BOTH yellows.

Virgo - 5 - Showed once again he is a centre back only.

Crofts - 6 - Better than the absent Navarro, played well towards the end.

Navarro - 4 - Barely noticed he was on the pitch, game passed him by.

Bennett - 8 - Absolute quality. Not even match fit yet he did not put a foot wrong. Delighted that we've signed him, looks pure class.

Cox - 7 - Tried to make things happen, got in good positions.

Forster - 6 - Despite a well taken goal, off his usual pace and touch today, age perhaps starting to show.

Dickinson - 5 - Donkey. Sorry but considering the amount of service he got, 80% of the time the ball would just bounce off him at random angles. Showed how massively we miss Murray's class on the ball.

How the f*** can you give Crofts a 1? He gave 110% today and was still tackling in the 95th minute. Him and Dicker in the middle would certainly be a good partnership as there is no height in there at the moment.

Dickinson was outstanding today and was definitely man of the match. Tunnicliffe was very promising. He was good on the ball, composed under pressure and passed along the floor instead of just lumping it up field which is what Whing, Virgo and Elphick or intent on doing.

If Crofts gets 1 then surely Cox gets -1? He was absolutely f***ing terrible today and that could have been his worst ever performance. He couldn't even be bothered to cut in and run off Forster like he normally does as he goes around pretending to be a winger.

What did Dickinson do? His touch was dreadful, he constantly lost the ball and tried aimless flick ons to no one.

He put a good shift in and worked hard, but a team of "hard triers" will not win you anything. His goal was a massive deflection.

I agree about Navarro but Crofts was excellent today. His passing was good and his tackling and tracking back despite having to run non stop protecting the back 3 was outstanding. If we play him alongside the right kind of player, perhaps Dicker or perhaps a knew goalscoring midfielder, then we have ourselves a very promising midfield.

The problem still lies with the wingers and until that is sorted out we will remain in this league! The two wide players never have a good game together. If cox plays well then Mcleod is shit and If Mcleod plays well then Cox is shit and today Cox was shit and Bennett was the better player.

Smith 7 - I was suprised, I think he's brilliant. Considering the goals flying past him, it doesn't look good. But I think he's quality, and he's going to prove to be.
Whing 6 - Tosh start to the season, like last season. Did a job at left back to be fair to him, and his commitment shone through again. Much like the Crewe game!
Virgo 6 - I thought he was a bit rubbish, he hit 1 good freekick and he hit one screamer from 20 yards, but defensively I thought he was crap.
Elphick 5 - I don't know why, whether his confidence was shot after tuesday, but he didn't look the player he did against Walsall. The red card was poor by his standards, the challenge to earn the second yellow was risky at best.
Tunnicliffe 7 - Good debut, he was alone at the heart of defence at the end there and was clearly knackered but gone on with it and for me, he's shown something today.
Bennett 6 - I thought he was anonymous and didn't look overly promising to me, though the cross for the goal was absolutely terrific.
Navarro 5 - He looked imposing and dominant against Walsall, but was anonymous and quiet today, I wouldn't pick him ahead of Dicker even on his best day.
Crofts 6 - Passion, commitment and desire. Nothing else, but he got stuck in with pride and determination today, he deserves credit. But not a place against Millwall.
Cox 6 - As I said on the phone in, I'm not wild about him on the left. Either start playing him in the centre, or stop playing him imo!
Forster 6 - He tried to go past his defender a couple of times and looked hopeless, he's not on form at the moment but he did score a vintage header and with better service would bang them in, still.
Dickinson 5 - Stop diving you mug. Quality on the ball, anonymous off it and needs better service, but when he gets it then he'll be dangerous.

Wright 5 - Looked poor today I thought, his volley chance was gilt edged and he should have done alot better.
Hawkins 5 - EEEEEYOOOOORE. No, I applauded him onto the pitch actually and I was glad to see him back. I'm glad it was him coming on and not El-Abd, to see him sent off straight away was classic.
Dicker 7 - Brilliant, magnificent, the missing link. Facts.

Smith 8 - Two fantastic double saves, at fault for none of the goals; edge of the six-yard box was exactly where he should have been for the second goal, it was just a phenomenal strike, you won't get many of them.
