BoF, when did anyone ever let knowledge of the facts get in the way of a good story, or an even better slating.

OGH is my favourite Albion player, based purely on the fact that he always gives more than 110%, I would love to see him in the team every week but am realistic enough to understand that there may be others higher up the pecking order or that the manager has a good reason for not playing him...I am of course not a football manager so will have to defer to his better judgement.

Flinders - 8 - Easily the Albion player that had the most positive effect on the final score.

Rehman - 6 - Looks as though he could be useful, but as Dick Knight said we probably can't afford him.

Elphick - 5 - Not helped by the rest of the team being poor.

Lynch - 6 - A lot of responsibility for a youngster. Didn't look like a £1m player.

Mayo - 5 - No worse than some of the others.

El - Abd - 4 - Worst game this season. Out of position.

Loft - 5 - Plenty of effort but limited ability.

Bertin - 5 - Poorest game he has played for us. Was he injured?

Frutos - 5 - Had our best shot on target, but didn't contribute much else.

Savage - 5 - Still not convinced.

Revell - 4 - Never looked like scoring or helping anyone else to do so.

Fraser - 4 - Hardly changed the game.

Robinson - 4 - Was he attached to the linesman in some way, he was so far right.

Elder - 3 - Did he touch the ball?

Wilkins - ? - Clueless

have to say some harsh reviews. we were very poor and didn't look like a team. To me it was a lot of individuals playing for contracts which Loft was the apitimy(sp) of - a heck of a lot of effort to chace/win the ball beut f all done woth it. Revell, I thought, worked and did well but I hear he had a strain so was taken off. Lynch played well but we need Bummers for experience and really hope he gets a new deal. OGH is an issue and I hope he gets a chance soon as he bleds blue and white and deservsres a chance again

Flinders - Best player on the pitch, those 2 second half saves were immense. 8

Rehman - Bit like De Ja Vu. Looks a player but lazy. Still solid enough. 6

Elphick - Thought it was a decent debut. Needs more experience at this level (Lynch has the benefit of Butters next to him). But he is strong and uses the ball well. 6

Lynch - Solid as a mo fo. 7

Mayo - Shit house. Sorry guys but he was bad, lost possession and defensively was all over the shop. 4

Bertin - Did pretty much nothing and gave the ball away a bit. 5

El-Abd - Stroke of anti-genius playing him on the right of the diamond. 6 for him just for being solid ina position he should never play but a 3 for Wilkins for playing him there.

Frutos - Looked lively and creative. A few misfires but surely his quality is worth a place in the team. 7

Loft - Looked far more composed on the ball than I had ever seen him before and still full of running. Not bad. 6

Savage - Tried to make things happen but the service was appalling. 7

Revell - Was he out there? 4

Wilkins - Clearly saw it as a run out for some players now we are safe. We looked incapable of scoring but I can't pinpoint what the tactical problem was. 5

Flinders - 8 Couple of super saves and good distribution

Mayo - 4 Poor in defence did well to get forward and find space for crossing but couldn't find anyone (see savage)
Lynch - 7 Another good performance, our most saleable asset by far
Elphick - 6 A couple of slip ups but I reckon he shows real promise.
Rehman - 7 Good outlet for Flinders and very capable. If we can get him long terms I'd be well happy.

Frutos - 5 Not strong enough gave the ball away to much, sorry no new contract.
Loft - 5 Not been good enough to be in the team all season. Still not good enough.
Bertin - 5 Certainly not one of his better games
El-Abd - 5 through no fault of his own, but WTF was he doing out on the right?

Revell - 5 Anonimous
Savage - 6 Good hold up play but often too deep or out wide meaning no-one was in the middle for any balls into the box.

Robinson - 5 Not sure if he was making runs down the wing or just hiding out there.
Elder - 5 No impact
Fraser - 6 Looked lively

Flinders - 8 - MOM kept the score down

Rehman - 6.5 - Seemed to have a lot of room down the right in the second half shame he had no one to cross to
Elphick - 6 - apart from one major cock up in the second half did alright looks promising
Lynch - 7 - Seemed to be defending on his own sometimes. Have to keep him
Mayo - 5 - got skinned every time and couldn't pass

Bertin - 6 - not exactly his best game
Loft - 6.5 - effort couldn't be doubted with a few games think he will be alright
El-abd - 6 - seemed a bit lost didn't know what role to play
Frutos - 5.5 - times i thought he was going to produce but he didn't . Can play a lot lot better

Revell- 6 - didn't seem fit very slow
Savage - 6 - didn't really do much

Fraser - 6 - battled but not much else
Robinson - 5 - did he touch the ball more than 5 times
Elder - 5 - don't think he knew what position he was playing

Wilkins - 5 - formation seemed to be lost on the players
