How many Weetabix did Cucu have for breakfast this morning? He was non-stop sprinting all afternoon. Best Albion left-back I can ever remember seeing.
How can any player who performed today warrant anything less than a 9?

Cucu must be worth £50m based on his performances this season .

Cucu (a slightly bigger) giant among giants.

Wouldn't be surprised if someone comes along to give March a four or a five!

Not sure about a shoo-in, Cucurella has a very good chance.

Who else would you say is a serious challenger to Cucurella? There are other strong candidates but I struggle to see beyond Cucurella getting the award.

Edit: ignore me. The post was about Veltman.

So many fans saying Veltman is underrated tells me that he isn't. Ninety nine percent of us rate him very highly.
Our fans watch him every week though - when was the last time you saw him picked out for praise from the media or an opposition fan? Probably very rarely given the type of player he is and the role he plays, which I’m guessing is the point.

From the MOTD highlights, Leo, Cucc and Moises were faultless.

Leo's dribbling is wonderful - especially if he does it in the box like that.
Cucu's energy and drive is tremendous.
Moises was a man against boys at times. Not the other way around.

Actually I didn’t think Leo was quite up to the standard he was in recent games…….had more than one good opportunity where he dithered, held on to the ball too long or made the wrong decision. There was a degree of frustration in the away end at times. As usual his good stuff was very good though. Cucu was incredible - and still bombing forward in injury time.

I hope we get at least one full season out of Moises before the inevitable colossal offer comes in.

Yeah, the highlights don't really do every player justice. I could only comment on what I saw.

Cuc from Veltman for POTS for me

In my commentary yesterday they said that Dunk has won Players POTS last four years running ? If so, I didn't realise

Could only see the game until the Trossard goal but Cucurella was clearly man of the match, obscenely good. If the man had a right foot he'd be playing in a very big club already.

Hopefully the club can keep him for another year but I wouldnt be shocked if there's some dirty, scary bids for him this summer.

I think you must have watched the same feed as me. If so, whilst Gary Birtles was the pundit who was the commentator? I really liked her style.

Solly March gets quite a bit of negative comments on here for not taking his man on. He did do a few times yesterday - notably when he took him on, put in a smart quick cross and won the handball penalty. Hopefully that will encourage him to have a go a bit more often.
