Ryan - 7 - very little to do
Bruno - 7 - comfortable
Dunk - 8 - assured throughout, so comfortable on the ball
Goldson - 9 - fantastic. You would never have realised it was his first Premier League game. Even a threat at set pieces
Suttner - 8 - supported March soperbly. some great balls into the box
Stephens - 7 - a really solid, if unspectacular performance
Propper - 7 - similar to Stephens. Got forward more today
Knockeart - 7 - hit and miss, but always willing, always a threat. Disappointing that the fans seemed to get on his back in the first half
March - 6 - very quiet in the first half, poor in the second but grew in confidence and finished the game strongly
Hemed - 6 - a busy performance, but let down by his finishing and decision making
Gros - 8 - everywhere again. Deserved his goal

Subs n/a

I guess if you judge a striker on putting the ball in the net then yeah six ..but otherwise Hemeds performance deserves better ..he looked more threatening than Murray has of late (and didn’t get offside as much)..also linked well with the German

This with (jingle) bell on.

We all know the squads limitations up front.
So to be critical after a performance where the 'attackers' were a constant threat it would seem churlish to now stick the boot in.

Hemed was offside 3 times in the first half. The linesman missed 2 of them.

Not offside then if not given [emoji6]

Thought Hemed offered a lot more than Murray of late. Took Murray just over a minute to get caught offside when he was ball watching.

Sorry, can't fault his effort but there wasn't a second when Tomer was a threat today

Pleased with most players performances.

I thought March and AK, especially March, were poor today. March worked hard, but seems out of his depth at the moment. Perhaps if we sign quality forwards, that will free up space for March to progress?

From the BBC website:
Brighton get that winning feeling
A lack of wins and goals was the concern going into the match for Brighton.

Three draws and four defeats in their last seven matches had the Seagulls looking down the league at the teams below.

But they dominated the game and winger Solly March impressed on the left of midfield, with 52% of their attacks coming down his wing

And i would have to agree with them, he played well and was a big threat to them.

I don't get why some are so blinkered and so down on some of our players all of the time (seems to always be that someone has to come under criticism when their performance was always the opposite of how these critics viewed it)

Players thrive on confidence, teams thrive on confidence and so why, when our players put in a good performance, is there is singling out of a player (who actually played very well in this game) and describing their performance as poor, i just don't get that mentality
