Sort it out you two...

I agree with some of the ratings.

Brezza - 5: Bar the monstorisity of a catch attempt, didn't have to do anything, played well while he has been here though.

Hoyte - 3: Didn't actually defend, just ran about and got in the paths, I know albion stand off players, but he is teh worst culprit

ElAbd - 7/8: Really good game from him actually, fourth best player on the pitch imo

Elhpick 6: turned a bit too easily but solid for the rest of the game

McNulty - 6: average at best from JM, but I think we need to remember that every single ball he goes for, every jump and step me must be thinking "this could be my other kindney again" and this needs to be considered

Cox - 6: good game, good runs, made an effort solid display overall, nothign spectacular

Dicker 8.8: Would have been an 9 if not for an average first half performance but second half, he blew it away by a mile, when on the ball, comfortable, great vision, knew when to attack and when to hold it up.

Navvaro 6: first decent game i've seen. Made a bit of an effort and finally showed glimpses of what he did at the Don's last season.

Bennett 6: Recently has had a slump and although he picked it up a bit today a bit to uninspiring. Good cross for our first though.

Fozzy 8: Behind dicker and Murray for best player, good runs, a couple of crosses that could have been converted and were. Good game all around.

Murray 9: f*** me four goals! Great display, f*** what TCB says, he's just a negetive twit. He scoured 4. Drogba hasn't score four against portsmouth this season. Rooney/Berbatov hasn't scored four past wolves, individually. Scoring four goals is no mean feat and for this he deserves a 9.

Overall - our attack showed what it can do, i know Wycombe are shite but we were able to show some vision and scoring five isn't easy at any level.

Poyet - 8 must have said somthign to the lads and turned it around!

My first away game of the season. Traffic a nightmare getting up but worth the effort. Great result and 2nd half performance.

Brezovan 5 - howler for the second, didn't look as comfortable as before.
Hoyte 4 - at fault for first goal, can't defend but some occasional good play going forward.
El Abd 8 - great job at centre half, not at fault for goals and got a double block on the first before slack defending from Elphick and Hoyte allowed them to score.
Elphick 6 - some shaky moments but also some good blocks.
McNulty 7 - caught napping in early stages, allowed them to hit post but better as game went on, v.comfortable.
Cox 7 - lively start, worked hard, helped close them down.
Navarro 7 - nice passing in first half, worked hard till subbed.
Dicker 8 - mixed first half, ran the midfield second half.
Bennett 6 - not so effective but worked hard. Missed a sitter at the end when Murray served it up on a plate.
Forster 7 - fantastic goal and set up Murray twice. Pace caused them problems and chased everything.
Murray 9 - caught offside constantly in first half or would have been a 10. Outstanding, they couldn't handle him.

Subs: Virgo 6, Hart 5, Jamie Smith (he's alive)! - not really enough time but slotted in well.

That accolade also goes to Murray IMHO.

nah, He was the best man OFF of the ball making space and the like, he was great on the ball but not in teh way dicker was, Dicker dictated play with the ball at his feet. Murray made the room and bang it in. It works. I like.

Brezovan - 3 - all over the shop, second goal was disgraceful
Hoyte - 5 - average
Elphick - 6 - some good, some bad
El-abd - 7 - solid again!
McNulty- 5 - never really got going
Bennett - 7 - our biggest midfield threat, back to his best
Dicker - 7 - shite first half, brilliant second half
Navarro - 8 - a stormer. Broke up everything through the middle.
Cox - 6 - faded badly, but a decent first half.
Murray - 10 - can't give him anything else after that.
Forster - 7 - didn't do much else, but his goal really was class.

I bloody love Alan. Such a tragic, pointless figure but somehow so endearing. The fact you've rated him HIGHER than Dicker today is just genius:bowdown:

To be fair, Dicker only scores lower due to his toilet first half. His second half was probably a 9/10.

Navarro kept it up until he was harshly subbed, but I guess that's the way Poyet does things.

An interesting point of view was offered by a mate today, who was watching us for the first time this season. Hoyte's defending was not helped in any way by Bennetts complete inablilty to track back and help.

For what its worth, Dicker would have been my m.o.m. today, but it's hard not to give to a guy that scores four goals.

Interesting. Especially as he is such a decent defender, i mean its obviously not his position but when ElAbd was sent of against the Dons (I think) he filled in rather excellently... it might not have been El Abd against the Dons... but he was good. He seems to have stopped. I think that may bepart of his slump, he doesn't have enough time to get up to pace and run and he holds up the ball too much.

I do love him though

No, apart from set up 2 of Murray's goals.
