I was really suprised how much we missed Croft and his fight.
So far, nobody seems to agree with Gus Poyet that Dicker was "the best player on the pitch, by far, and when I say 'by far' I mean by miles. The next one, and with all respect to the 21 other players, was not even close".
That accolade also goes to Murray IMHO.
Poyet - 8 must have said somthign to the lads and turned it around!
Yeah, something like, lose this and you will all be looking for new clubs in January!
Seemed to have worked!
Dicker - 7 - shite first half, brilliant second half
Navarro - 8 - a stormer. Broke up everything through the middle.
I bloody love Alan. Such a tragic, pointless figure but somehow so endearing. The fact you've rated him HIGHER than Dicker today is just genius
Twat.

What now?
An interesting point of view was offered by a mate today, who was watching us for the first time this season. Hoyte's defending was not helped in any way by Bennetts complete inablilty to track back and help.
For what its worth, Dicker would have been my m.o.m. today, but it's hard not to give to a guy that scores four goals.
That you should be so right in your assessment and everyone I have spoken to, the evidence of my own eyes and Gus Poyet, himself, so wrong.
Brezovan - 3 - all over the shop, second goal was disgraceful
Hoyte - 5 - average
Elphick - 6 - some good, some bad
El-abd - 7 - solid again!
McNulty- 5 - never really got going
Bennett - 7 - our biggest midfield threat, back to his best
Dicker - 7 - shite first half, brilliant second half
Navarro - 8 - a stormer. Broke up everything through the middle.
Cox - 6 - faded badly, but a decent first half.
Murray - 10 - can't give him anything else after that.
Forster - 7 - didn't do much else, but his goal really was class.
