Not a great game, but fantastic atmosphere and the right result!

Kuipers 8. One or two excellent saves. Good kicking. Good ball handling.

Whing 7. A typical Whing performance.

Virgo 8. He's playing where he should be.

Elphick 8. Good partnership developing with Virgo.

Borrowdale 7. Good game.

Cox 7. Some good stuff. One of his better games.

Dicker 6. Better second half, but fairly anonymous in the first and gave the ball away too often.

Fraser 7. One of his best games. Did some constructive stuff.

Loft 7. Playing well now that he has been given a run in the team.

Hart 6. Not really on long enough to rate.

Owusu 6. The Stockport CB did not give him much joy today.

Subs:

Andrew 6. Great attempt to score when he was injured, but did not do much else.

Forster 8. Great to have him back. We have really missed his skill, his running, his crosses and his goals.

McLeod 6. Not long, but looked OK.

Kuipers 7- good handling and one particularly good save
Whing 7 - committed performance
Elphick 7 - seems to be back to the form of last season and has regained confidence
Virgo 8 - superb
Borrowdale 6 - fairly solid but a couple of sloppy passes

Dicker 6 - quitely efficient
Cox 7 - worked hard
Fraser - 8 MOM, thought he was superb. Worked hard from start till finish and passing was excellent
Loft 7 - ran his socks off

Owusu 6 - put himself about and tried hard but well marshalled by Stockport defence
Hart - not on long enough to rate but couple of good touches

Andrew 6 - shame he was injured
Forster 7 - to come back, play 45 mins like that after only training for 2 days is testimony to what a superb professional Forster is. I'm so pleased he got the winning goal.
McLeod 7 - played well when he came on. I think he is a confidence player.

Manager & Fans - 10! Great atmosphere, great day and credit to whoever thought of putting those clapper/banner things on the seats. The kids in the family stand loved them.

Kuipers 7 - Came for crosses well and some good saves.

Whing 6 - Top man for playing when unwell, but it showed at times.

Virgo 8 - Brilliant, if he keeps this up next year then we have a solid defensive base to work from.

Elphick 6 - Alright, a few dodgy moments, his performance has been over-rated I think.

Borrowdale 7 - Linked up well with Cox in second half

Loft 7 - Busy enough, but wasn't involved that much.

Fraser 7 - Calm and composed on the ball. Maybe a bit too casual sometimes.

Dicker 7 - Not as good as he has been, but ok. Sign him up.

Cox 7 - Really tried, could tell it meant a lot to him.

Owusu 7 - Worked his nuts off, didn't get much joy.

Hart - Not on long enough, could tell he was unfit from the start.


Subs:

Andrew 6 - Missed very difficult chance, not on for very long.

Forster 9 - What can you say?

McLeod 7 - Looked really up for it and put some cracking crosses/tackles in. Once he sorts his fitness out, he will be a good player for us.

He could have cost us a goal with his endless HOOFING. Collected the ball in defence, HOOFED it straight to one of their players, got a second chance as they lost possession, but proceeded to HOOF it once again!

I think hoofing was the game plan wasn't it? He wasn't alone. Stockport played much the better football for the most part imo.

Nowhere NEAR as much as Fraser yesterday. Anyone who couldn't see he was our stand out player yesterday obviously wasn't concentrating on the match.
