Is Best now the hate figure as everybody giving low marks and Radio Sussex saying he played well, I know which I would believe.

I don't hate him at all, he was just poor last night. If WA thinks otherwise then good for him. In comparison to CMS he was the better striker - is that a better summary perhaps ? It's just degrees of awfulness.

Yes, that's the impression I got as well, held the ball up and sounded like a real handful.

Stockdale 6 - Didn't have much to do
Bruno 6 - Did all that was asked of him but not the player of earlier in the season
Greer 7 - best game for ages
Halford 7 - love his attitude and wouldn't bow to some dodgy goings-on from 'Wall forwards
Bennett 6 - good going forward not so much defensively
Stephens 6 - still looking short of match fitness
Kayal 7- did well in a crowded midfield, broke up their attacks
Holla 5 - wasteful in possesion, off the pace
Calderon 5 - as always full of heart but didn't achieve much
Best 5- one decent effort but clearly not fit
CMS 4 - full of running but poor ball control and absolutely no threat to the opposition

Subs:
Lualua 6 - things started to happen as soon as he came on
COG 6 - should have started played well in the time he was on
Tiexiera 7 - the only real threat we had all night was when the ball was at his feet
